Every Little Battersea muslin is a dream! We craft them from beautifully soft, sustainably grown, and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified cotton, so you know it's kind to both your baby's skin and the planet.
Each piece is lovingly handcrafted and pre-washed by our wonderful artisans in Portugal, meaning it arrives at your door already wonderfully soft.
We partner with ethical suppliers who share our commitment to organic materials, transparent production, and lasting quality—sustainability as a practice, not a trend.
Machine wash gentle in warm water. It is recommended to line dry or light tumble dry. Printed design may soften slightly over time, adding to its well-loved character. See more tips below.
We offer free shipping within Portugal, including the Azores and Madeira.
Orders are prepared with care and dispatched from Portugal. Typical delivery times are 1–2 business days within mainland Portugal and 5–9 business days to the Azores and Madeira. Care for your fabric
HOW TO WASH & DRY
Treat your muslin with gentle care and it will reward you.
Use a delicate or hand‑wash cycle and mild detergent. A 30°C wash removes everyday marks; for tougher stains you may use 40°C (or 60°C only when needed). Avoid high heat to protect natural dyes and keep colours luminous.
Air dry when you can, or tumble on the lowest setting. If ironing is necessary, do so on the left side (reverse) on a low temperature.
For a kinder wash, choose biodegradable laundry sheets or eco‑friendly detergents.
Quick tip: treat stains promptly and use gentle soaking rather than vigorous scrubbing — it keeps the weave soft and timeless.
